Extend Fertility may be the right solution for women who want to take control of future fertility.
Women Age 18-40Extend Fertility’s services provide an otherwise unavailable option to healthy women looking for ways to balance personal and professional goals with starting a family. Ideal candidates for egg freezing are women aged 18-40 in good reproductive health who plan to have children beyond the age of 35. Unfortunately we cannot accept clients over age 40. Our medical advisory board has determined that egg freezing is not appropriate for women over age 40 due to the poor quality of older eggs.Women with CancerMany medical procedures, especially those directed at treating cancer, can compromise a woman’s fertility. Extend Fertility can help certain women about to undergo these treatments protect their ability to have children in the future. Our physicians will work closely with a patient’s primary medical team to determine which fertility preservation options are most appropriate.Further resources on cancer and fertility are available through Fertile Hope, a national nonprofit organization providing reproductive information, support and hope to cancer patients. Women with a family history of Endometriosis, Premature Ovarian Failure, or Early MenopauseA family history of endometriosis, premature ovarian failure, or early menopause can have a real impact on a woman’s fertility. For more information on how fertility preservation could be an appropriate treatment for women who may become diagnosed with these conditions, click here. |
"Doctors say egg freezing could be beneficial for young women who are diagnosed with cancer who want to save their fertility or for women who want to have children later in life."
