Lynn Westphal, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Consulting Medical Director to Extend Fertility
Dr. Westphal is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and the Director of the Oocyte Donation Program in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Stanford University School of Medicine. In early 1999, Dr. Westphal and Stanford University launched their groundbreaking oocyte cryopreservation program, one of the first in the world to focus on fertility preservation for cancer patients.

Dr. Westphal graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Sciences and earned her M.D. degree at Stanford University. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Stanford University. She completed two fellowships, one in Molecular Biology at Stanford and one in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
