Christy is a seasoned entrepreneur with a successful track record of bringing new technologies to market. From 1996 through 2001, Christy served as President of pcOrder, successfully leading the company from start-up to a NASDAQ-listed public corporation. Prior to founding pcOrder, she served in numerous management roles at Trilogy Software, the company she co-founded as a student in 1989. In recognition of her achievements, Christy was honored as Ernst and Young's 1999 National Entrepreneur of the Year in the Young Entrepreneur category. Her entrepreneurial success has been highlighted on 3 covers of Forbes magazine, and she has also been named one of Computer Reseller News' "Top 25 Executives", a "Top 100 Young Innovator" by MIT's Technology Review and one of the "Top 20 Leaders Under 30" by Working Woman. Christy currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fertile Hope, a national non-profit organization.Christy received a BA in Economics from Stanford University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. Megan AitkenVice President, Client EducationMegan has over ten years of sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and medical arena. Most recently, she was a Specialty Sales Representative in the Neurology Specialty Division of Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for managing a multimillion dollar book of business while developing long-term relationships with major hospitals and buying groups in the Boston medical community. She has also practiced as a critical care nurse in both the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Cardiac Step-Down Unit at Boston Children's Hospital.Megan received her BS in Conservation and Resource Development from the University of California, Berkeley and her RN from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Healthcare Professionals. Marla H. LibratyVice President, MarketingMarla has over 15 years of consumer marketing experience from her past positions with such consumer packaged goods giants as Mattel and the Eveready Battery Company. She helped launch Mattel Toys' Becky in 1997, the first-ever 11 in" fashion doll in a wheelchair. The doll, a close friend of Barbie, was cited as garnering the most press of any product the world's largest toy maker had ever launched as well as accolades from affiliated organizations and kids around the world. Marla and her physician/researcher husband, lived in Bangkok, Thailand for over four years with their three children. Marla currently serves on the Board of Directors for Step Into Art, a Boston-based non-profit that provides engaging art experiences for children.Marla received a BA in Communications from the University of California, San Diego and a Master's in Business Administration from UCLA/Anderson School of Management. Charlotte Frank SageVice President of Clinical Affairs and OperationsCharlotte has over eight years of scientific research experience. She has worked at Wesleyan University using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and computer simulations to study ligand binding. She did her doctoral work at Yale University studying the interactions of the yeast Candida albicans with human intestinal epithelial cells in an effort to understand the methods by which Candida albicans causes illness in immunocompromised patients. She has extensive experience culturing human epithelial cells and performing a variety of experimental techniques such as DNA, RNA, and protein isolation and manipulation. Charlotte has also served as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses at both Wesleyan and Yale Universities. Most recently she has been an organizer of educational programs at the Yale University Peabody Museum of Natural History.Charlotte received a B.A. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University and a Ph. D. in Microbiology from Yale University. Jennifer Somberg BernierDirector, Client ServicesJennifer has over nine years experience in health care and health care administration. She began her work in this field as a case manager for clients with cerebral palsy. She has worked closely with patients in both hospital and outpatient facilities, overseeing the clinical and administrative components of a diverse group of programs. Most recently she supervised the daily operations and the support staff of an OB/GYN medical practice.Jennifer is a member of Women in Healthcare Management. She received a B.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services from Boston University and a Masters in Public Health from Boston University concentrating in health services. Stacie H. BakerClient EducatorStacie is a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in female reproductive health counseling. With both personal and professional experience in assisted reproductive technology, she is uniquely qualified to help women explore their fertility-related treatment options. She has worked as a social worker at the Women's Health and Birthing Pavilion at the Morris Heights Health Center (Bronx, NY), and held a counseling and referral position at the Planned Parenthood League of Boston. She most recently worked in the counseling department at RESOLVE, a national infertility organization, where she educated and counseled women on a wide range of infertility-related issues. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.Stacie received her B.A. in English from Boston University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. |
